Can Praxis

While the Canadian Forces uses team building, communications training and leadership development to prepare soldiers for war, Can Praxis uses horses to help soldiers recover from it and regain their family relationships.
The Can Praxis three day program was created by a 28 year Veteran and is designed for Veterans and First Responders, serving or retired, who have been diagnosed with PTSD and/or OSI and their Spouses / Partner / Family member.

Veterans Voices of Canada

All Veterans have a story, and we at Veterans Voices of Canada would like to give them the opportunity to tell it through our professional video documentation. From WW2 to recent Veterans, we feel it is very important to document their story for history. Many RCMP Veterans have served in military capacity, and we would like to document their story along with their military brothers and sisters.

VETS Canada

As VETS Canada continues to grow, our goal is that VETS Canada is recognized throughout Canada for its expertise in seeking out and providing an initial response to homeless and at-risk veterans. With Ground Support Teams in every province, we will seek out and provide initial aid and comfort to homeless and at-risk vets. Dedicated and trained volunteers will have an excellent understanding of the support that government and other organizations can provide and will have cultivated effective working relationships with these groups that allow them to assist vets within their respective mandates.

Quilts of Valour - Canada Society

Quilts of Valour - Canada was founded in 2006 by Lezley Zwaal in Edmonton Alberta. Quilts Of Valour - Canada was determined to acknowledge the significant contribution made by injured Canadian Armed Forces members and veterans. Specially designed quilts for presentation to injured CAF members and veterans were created.
